Jocelyn is a senior legal executive and business partner. She currently serves as vice president and deputy general counsel at The Home Depot, where she is responsible for legal issues relating to corporate and securities, commercial litigation and tax. Jocelyn also provides general counsel for one of the company’s business units, and for over eight years, has been the leader of the cross‐functional team charged with responding to cybersecurity incidents. As such, her oversight spans an array of legal and crisis management issues.
As a seasoned legal generalist, Jocelyn is experienced with all aspects of litigation and in handling legal issues relating to cybersecurity, data privacy, corporate and securities, governance, tax, intellectual property, international operations, supply chain operations, executive compensation, employment, labor and regulatory investigations.
Jocelyn is a leader in the legal community and in the local community in which she lives. She currently serves on the advisory board for the Duke Law Center for Judicial Studies and as a member of the Board of Visitors of Duke Law School, where she was recently co-chair of the Future of the Profession task force. She is chair of the Board of Directors of The Alliance Theatre, is immediate past chair of the Board of Directors at the Atlanta History Center and is a member of the Board of Directors at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She is also the co-chair of the National Strategic Planning Committee of the Links Incorporated. In 2013, Jocelyn had the prestigious honor of receiving the Georgia Multicultural Leadership Award and in 2020, she received the Forever Duke Award from Duke University.
