Deepfake Security Threats 2026 | Speakers

Ashley Hong

Ashley Hong is a 2L and Cybersecurity Service Scholar interested in cybercrime and national security. She majored in computer science and international relations at Brown University and previously worked in software venture capital at Insight Partners.

At NYU, Ashley is a Staff Editor on the Moot Court Board and Public Interest Co-Chair of APALSA. She has worked as a Research Assistant to Professors Judi Germano and Sunoo Park, focusing on cybersecurity and AI.

During law school, Ashley has interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, and she will join the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office this summer.
