Andrew J. La Marca, CFE, CAMS, is a seasoned leader in global fraud prevention and compliance, with more than 15 years of experience spanning Capital One, Ally Financial, and Dun & Bradstreet. He is recognized for driving pivotal initiatives that reduce fraud risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance data integrity across complex, global operations.
As the Head of Fraud and Data Operations at Dun & Bradstreet, La Marca spearheads the integration of strategically critical technologies — including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation — to fortify enterprise-wide fraud prevention frameworks and drive scalable fraud risk management ecosystems. His domain expertise spans the full fraud lifecycle, with deep specialization in fraud risk intelligence, control design and optimization, and the deployment of advanced analytics to proactively detect and mitigate emerging threats.
La Marca is a recognized thought leader in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) frameworks, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, with a proven track record of aligning fraud risk management with broader business objectives. His collaborative leadership style has been instrumental in securing executive buy-in and funding for transformative initiatives, including multiple business case approvals and most recently for expanded uses of AI. These initiatives have unlocked new revenue streams, enhanced customer trust, and embedded a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across global operations.
La Marca holds a bachelor’s degree in Crime, Law, and Justice from The Pennsylvania State University (2009) and professional certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner (awarded by ACFE in 2014) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (awarded by ACAMS in 2018). La Marca is also the President of the Lehigh Valley Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (LV-ACFE).
