Sylvia Acevedo is an author, entrepreneur, engineer, rocket scientist, former Fortune 100 executive, and was one of the first Hispanics (female or male) to have earned a graduate engineering degree at Stanford University. Beginning in September 2018, the Girl Scouts of America began offering education opportunities for millions of U.S. girls in grades K-12 to earn cybersecurity badges.
